I chose the Catholic University in Ruzomberok because twice I participated in the Erasmus+ mobility there and I enjoyed every minute of my stay in Slovakia. In my opinion, the CU offers a great education platform for foreign students; it provides very comfortable dormitories; everyone takes care of you, so you do not feel alone or helpless! In order to make the student’s life more fulfilling, the CU organizes different meetings; students can take advantage of the modern library, university media and radio centres or turn to the consulting centre in case of any difficulties. The Faculty of Arts and Letters of the CU was the best option in response to my demands.

Why did I choose your university for the Erasmus+ mobility? Students from Lublin (my home university) who studied at your institution encouraged me to study in Ruzomberk. They told me about good teachers and their observation proved to be true. Thanks to the stay at your university (2 semesters) I could get to know the Slovak literature on the subject of my doctoral dissertation and this possibility widened my overview of the topic of my dissertation. Apart from that I had a possibility to participate at the international doctoral conference and that was a new experience for me. A course of study was conducted in a very interesting way, I had a chance to learn many new things. Nevertheless, Erasmus is not only about studying. During my free time, I toured cities and I learnt their history. I very much enjoyed hiking in beautiful mountains. With regard to Slovak students, they are very kind and friendly and they are always willing to help. The choice of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, Catholic University in Ruzomberk was the best decision!
